Our most-loved journeys, shaped over fifteen years on the trail. Take one as it is, or use it as the start of something tailored.
Local guides, fair wages, and journeys designed around you — not a fixed itinerary you have to keep up with.

Every trip is led by Tanzanian guides who grew up on these trails and read the land like a second language.
Tell us how you like to travel. We shape the route, the rhythm and the rest days around you — not a template.
Fair wages, low-impact camps and a share of every booking reinvested in the communities that host you.
A real person on the ground, reachable around the clock, from the first question to the summit photo.

Real words from travellers who walked, sailed and climbed with us.
“Standing at Uhuru Peak at sunrise was the hardest, most alive I've ever felt. Our guide Joseph carried the whole team — and our spirits — the entire way up.”
Amara OkaforMachame Route · 7 days“We saw the river crossing on day three. Thousands of wildebeest, total silence, then chaos. Karanfil put us in exactly the right place at exactly the right time.”
Lukas BrandtSerengeti Migration · 5 days“Stone Town, the spice farms, then a dhow at sunset. Every day felt designed for us. I've already sent three friends their way.”
Priya SharmaZanzibar Unwind · 6 daysTanzania and Zanzibar are year-round, but each season shows a different face. Here is what to expect, month by month.
Peak wildlife, clearest skies.
The classic safari window. Thinning water draws game to the rivers, the Mara River crossings peak from July, and dry trails make Kilimanjaro and Meru at their most reliable. Busiest and priciest — book early.
The things travellers ask us most, before they book.
June to October is dry-season prime for safari and trekking, with clear skies and easy wildlife spotting. The migration river crossings peak July–September. For Zanzibar's beaches, the same window is ideal, while the green season (January–March) brings fewer crowds and newborn animals.
